ride the tsunami bike ride

Well we were off for our 25km ride today....and then the alerts came in. For the safety of the riders they decided not to let us all land on the beach at petone. So we finished the ride at Stokes Valley- just 12km. And I did great! I got Dad to take me off the trailgator and I tried some MB skills on the track. Up and down the hills, through the loose gravel and even on the skinny paths next to the river. It was great fun.

playcentre camp

Last weekend I met up with my old friends from Playcentre. We had a camp at Paekakariki. Dad taught us how to play bullrush! He was a bit puffed trying to keep up with us speedy kids.
We all had fish and chips together for tea and chocolate icecreams (no wonder we were still awake at 830pm). It was great fun to see Rachel again, we spend heaps of time on the trampoline and riding our bikes around.

Just after I started back at school Mummy and Daddy got me a new desk. Now I can do my drawings without DJ annoying me (so much)

end of the holidays.....

We have reached the last day of the holidays (for me anyway, DJ was back at Playcentre yesterday and I went along to check it out...). Today we are going to the movies, here is a photo of DJ on the bus with his lava man mask. He made it at his friend's party on the weekend. And the photo of me is with my front tooth out! I can whistle now. I am going to put it beside my bed tonight and see if the toothfairy comes.....I was hoping for $2 but Mum and Dad said they only used to get 50c!?
