trip to wellington

On wednesday we caught the train to Wellington, what a great trip. J and I were bouncing all the way to TePapa. And best of all we got to spend the morning with Nana Fran and Bill. We showed them all our favourite exhibits and even tried some new ones. Dj even stood in the earthquake house all by himself.

After catching the train home we went to Push Play at Avalon park to see Ashleigh and her sisters. DJ climed so high on the spider web that he got stuck! He was hanging up in the air and Mum had to quickly climb up to get him...I think he was trying to follow me! Dj also had a turn on the flying fox...weeeeee.

school holidays

Hi

DJ and I have been keeping busy. This week it was at the pool (I had lessons last week and so I am getting pretty good now - I was even giving mum instructions in the pool!
And we went to Harcourt Park with Liam and Jared. We took our bikes and rode over the swing bridge. It was very hot though, at least 25oC! (take note Australia). Unfortunately the wading pool at the park was closed but Mum said we can try next week.

Facepaint

Tonight while we were waiting for dinner J and I got out the facepaints, J did a good job of my face, but he wouldn't let me paint his....so we did Mummy instead. It looked great, just like an indian said J. Daddy wouldn't let us paint his face....this time....

Palmerston North holiday

This week we went to PN to visit Mummy's friend Kathy. And Dj and I got to meet Emma and Chris. We had a great time staying with our new friends, we got to go to the Esplanade Park and had a great time exploring all the playequipment. And we got to have a picnic for lunch and then went for a paddle in the pool.
On the way home we stopped in Levin at the Adventure Park and DJ and I climbed the spider frame. Not too high DJ, but look how high I can climb!

a new career?

I got a new toy for christmas....a Dr set. Just call be Dr Dylan I told Mummy and Daddy. Then everyone had to line up so I could use the sefascope (stethascope).

hawera touristing

J and I got to explore some of Daddy's old stamping grounds in Hawera. It was called Waihi Beach, J said it was 'like quick sand' I just liked the sparkle (apparently of the iron ore). We had a great time exploring the rocks and the water running from the stream into the ocean. I even some rocks with holes in them, volcano rocks J called them. Can't wait to get back there again.

cricket christmas

I got a new cricket set for christmas! I have had great fun trying it out (even though Mummy lost the ball in the park yesterday grrrr). On Boxing day I even had Grandma out playing with me.

Dj needs some practice though, he won't listen when I tell him to catch the ball....

We actually had some sunshine! Dj and I got to have a great afternoon on christmas eve in the backyard with dad....Aussies eat your heart out - no water restrictions that day!
And the next day at the cuzzies house in Hawera, you guessed it more water.
