christmas day

Santa found us in Australia! He crashed the sled again though, broke the branches and rudolph left footprints all over the ground. Santa left us a note to check in the garage....and we found some scooters. Dad and Papa helped us put them together and then we were off. Mum even tried to but she crashed....thats another story.

it was about the pathfinding glow bugs exhibit at the new dowse.

jakob and dylan went back for another look in the sandpit on the weekend (with DJ's friend Isaac)

jakob now a cub and other news

Ashlee came over for a visit and we walked all the way to sugar loaf rock, its our favourite maungaraki look out.
On my first night at cubs I went on a trip to the firestation....heres me with the hose. We got about as wet as did on my first solo cub camp....soaked.

just before christmas...

well its been awhile since we've been online so mum is just going to add some photos for a catch up.....first up DJ and I have been using dad's trainer as we have been watching mum and dad getting back into excercise...maybe they were worried about keeping up with us?
Next is DJ zooming donw the slide at the botanical gardens in wellington. With the great weather Playcentre has been out on a few trips, his favourite was the bus trip we took for our playathon....6 parks in one morning pheww.

and more

forgot to add that we also had a disco on friday night for Dylan's childcare. It was a fundraiser for the christchurch earthquake victims and about $700 was raised. Great job ( and heaps of fun dancing)

school holidays are here again....

Well here we go again its school holidays!
On the weekend the weather had cleared so we went to the school park every day and Dylan has started riding without his training wheels! Now I can show him some stunts that I have been practicing like riding down the steps (don't look mum).
On Tuesday Liam and Jared came over for a play and we had heaps of fun exploring the park and then got to have fish and chips for lunch.
On wednesday Dylan's friend Jack stayed for a sleepover and we made pizzas for tea. They were a bit messy but everyone enjoyed eating them.
After such a busy week it was a break for me to head to the school holiday program for a couple of days and on Friday I got to go the movies.

Time for a rest this weekend I think.

Hi
Yesterday I had a great day on the field, stopping the goals for my team. I was rolling, leaping and diving onto the ball. So I was really proud of myself when I got Player of the day.

Last week of soccer next week, then it will be a long time til the season starts next year.....

rainy days

Hi
The rain has meant we have had to stay inside a bit. On the weekend we were building lots of lego....and then J stood on a piece and decided he needed to soak his feet because it hurt. He managed to get the bucket and fill it with water. Unfortunately some of the water later ended on the carpet....but thats another story.

Mummy and I have been going to TheNewDowse museum for a special foru year old session once a month. We get to check out the latest exhibition at the museum (this week it was textiles and we even got to touch things! I especially liked the wall of fur, you could make patterns all over it. At the end we do a craft project and this month it was masks. DOn't you like my cool mask?

Rain, hail, you can't keep me off the soccer field now! I was as keen as ever to get out on the field today. And there was heaps of mud to splash around in....as me and the rest of the team discovered.
I was racing down the field today.

On saturday we got to go with Grandad when he washed the bus. Cool seats we had, and it even had seatbelts on the bus!?
Later that day Bradley and Jack came over to play. We did lots of running around playing soccer and rugby with our dads...and aunty Susan and Grandad too.

After lunch Grandma got us to sit down for a photo together.....cheese

bush walk

Yesterday Dad took me and Jakob on a bushwalk to Mt Kaukau. It was a humongous view of wellington at the top. I told dad I could even see our house!

We couldn't wait to get started and were running along the track most of the way.....I have even did a stunt man roll down the hill on the way back to the car.

Then today its been a bit chilly so out came all the lego. Jakob made lots of cars and spaceships and I made mostly boats and planes. Mum says we are very creative.

school holiday activities

Hi
This week Dj and I have been keeping mum busy out and about. We went to Avalon Park where I was racing around the track (and DJ was trying to catch up with me!)

And after the big collection of Zac Power books I have acquired I have been reading lots at night.....I think I need a bed light mum and dad.

Last night Regan stayed over, we made pizzas for tea, made a humongous tent city in the lounge and played snap with my new cards from grandma and grandad.

school holidays

Its the school holidays, two whole weeks at home with mum!
Lucky the weather has cleared a little and we have already managed to get out. We were on the bikes yesterday with Mum, Dad and Dylan. I even rode down the curly wirly (pedestrian ramp leading to the stadium) all by myself.

Today we had the music on for some dancing, "ACDC is the first and the best band in the world" I told Mum today.

Dylan's week

Hi

I have been out and about this week, Mummy says I have such a busy social life!
We went out to a cafe for lunch, and I had my first fluffy.....it was great until I asked Mummy if it was cow milk? I decided I like rice milk better. But the chocolate was good!

On saturday while J was at soccer (and Mummy was at work) I went to my friend Jack's house and we went on a road trip! We went to Manfield (the racing car track) for the day. We had heaps of fun and even got to have MacD's for lunch and stopped at an animal petting zoo on the way home. What a day and then it was Jakob's party the next day.

We are still waiting for pictures of Jakob's party.....hopefully Grandma has some as our camera isn't working very well.
