NPC

Last weekend our playcentre had a 50th birthday celebration. There was a big party on saturday with cake and ballons and a sausage sizzle for morning tea. It was great having an extra day to play at our centre. Mummy took a few photos of the morning. DJ having morning tea, Liam and I on the fort/slide and then the balloons being let off. It was very windy so it was tricky to get them up and away.

chilling out

Jakob and I have our own ways of chilling out after a hard days play.

Me I prefer a spin on the bike, and Jakob he is quite fond of a book (or here with a magazine of mummy's).

we're back

Hi all!

Mummy has been a bit slack lately so you are probably wondering what we have been up to.......

Well to start off, last weekend we went out to stay with Leicester and Nicola. And as it was a bit chilly on Sunday for a swim we went to the Aotea Lagoon park instead. What a great place, to quote me (Jakob) "theres so much to do" I said as we came in sight of the park.

Here are a few shots of us at the park, me on the slide tunnel, and on the really loooonnnngggg slide (which I didn't want any help on), DJ on the roundabout and on the fireengine. DJ has been standing up at every opportunity so he liked being to grab the wheel and stand solo.

Dylan's week

Hi

Well I have been busy this week too. Most importantly I have been trying out my crawl moves. Not too much mind you, I don't want Mummy and Daddy to get too excited. I make it very tricky to actually catch it on camera as when the camera comes out I drop down. So this pic has me in crawl mode but no face shots.

I also travelled to Hawera with J and had a great time playing with Bradley's toys, also just watching the 'big boys' running around was entertainment for me.

Yesterday I went to my first party. Aisling (lives next door) had her 1st birthday party at Avalon park. Here is a shot of us enjoying a sweet treat, it tasted good! Even if I did drop it a few times, grass just adds to the flavour!

Talk to you next week,

Love Dylan.

Jakob's week

Hi

Mummy should really title this J's fortnight as she has been a bit slack.....

Anyway I have been busy lately, Mummy says I start at full volume with "goodmorning mummy/daddy" and then so it continues at full speed until I collapse into bed.

Bruce and I have been enjoying the sunshine and last week we were in the backyard with the playdough, I told mummy I was making dinner.

I got to visit Grandma and Grandad in Hawera last week and we went around to Bradley's house. So I couldn't miss the opportunity to get on the tramp.

Then James and Sean came over for dinner on saturday night. While our Daddys were watching the rugby we got our mums to take us to the park ('at my school' I like to say).

Then finally there is a pic of me fast asleep after another exciting weekend. I went on a bike ride with Daddy on Sunday and I won a spot prize, a bell for my bike!

Love Jakob
