A weekend packed full of adventures

This weekend me and Dylan had a great time, On Saturday Dad decided it was a great day for a ride on the bikes, so, off we all went to cycle round the Pauatahanui inlet on a new track they are making around Greys road, then we found another track that took us over lots of troll bridges where i tooted my horn to scare them away, further down the track we went past lots of little boat sheds & batch's right around to the Paremata bridge where we rode on the beach.

Then we went all the way back to the troll bridges and found a nice spot for some exploring and a spot of lunch.

As if all this action wasn't enough on our 15km ride, i managed to take a huge spill off my bike when Dad and i were racing over some rocky track, Dad didn't know that i took a fall and i got dragged along a bit. When Dad stopped we found out i had some cool battle wounds ... I told Dad he had to buy me a chocloate fish because i was being tough and having blood on my bike ride.

Then on Sunday, Leicester and Nicola came over and we went out for breakfast and then off to this cool park in Upper Hutt where they have heaps of high action rides, me and Dylan went on this really big slide and Dylan wasn't even scared, i think mummy was as she went down really slowly. The flying fox i went on was really fast, Dylan couldn't go on this though as dad said it was a bit dangerous to take him on so i had all the fun to myself.

After all this action me and Dylan were really puffed out and needed a rest, i think Mum and Dad were happy with that also.

More adventures from the weekends

Yet again me and Jakob and dad were out and about, we went off to see a drag car show, There were some very cool cars there but this was my favourite one so Dad had to take a photo of me and my big bro, Dad said the car was suiting to me and Jakob as it was called Monster and dad reckons that is what we are.

We didn't really do much else on this day as it was a bit cool outside, But when we got home I tried the art of practising my walking in Dads jandals, mum calls them something else but that sounds like undies, so i think we'll call them jandals....

spring is coming

Hi all

The sunshine has been a bonus for us, its been great to get outside for awhile. J has been busy doing lots outside and as such heading to bed early at night, tonight it was 6pm!

Here are a few pics of me Mummy took while Jakob was at Playcentre: me reading, a favourite hobby; using my tools - I can't wait for the real ones Daddy!; and checking out Bob the Builder on DVD. I really like Bob, I dance to the music every time I hear it, even if it is just Mummy and Jakb singing for me.

There is also a picture of Jakob and I at the table for breakfast, I like to eat my toast at the big boy table now, but Mummy keeps putting me back in the highchair to have my porridge she says I am still a bit messy (I won't let her feed me, I have to do it myself).

Love Dylan and Jakob

So many activities, so little time to publish them

August 25th (sorry we are late)

Me, daddy and Dylan went into town today (Mum was working at the hostibal), it was really cool and we walked to my favourite park (the lighthouse slide) at Frank Kitts park, me and Dylan had great fun on the slides and although i tried to get Daddy on the slide he was having no part of that, i reckon he's scared of the big slide eh mummy.

Then, we went round to Te Poo Poo as i call it and they had police cars out side, i told dad not to speed as the policeman might give you a ticket eh Dad! They even had an exhibition in the museum and on the way out, i shared my smarties with the policeman and he took me for a ride in his car... it was really cool. After that we went back to the car and then we picked up mummy from work and went to Ashleigh's for dinner so dad could watch the rugby with Steve.

August 26th

Today we went to Masterton on the train with Leicester and Nicola, we went through a really long tunnel (it used to be the longest in NZ and was built in war times). Mum and dad and Leicester and Nicola took me and Dylan to lunch and we had a really good feed, we then went across the road to this really cool park where we played and went on the flying fox, slides, miniature train and all sorts of rides, i even got to see some of father x-mas' reindeer (Dad said they were still recovering after being busy at x-mas)

I even nearly walked all the way back to the train but was so tired, When we got to the station i tried to sleep but it was just too much fun, i then fell a sleep on the train, Dad said it was about 45 minutes too late though, i don;t know what he was talking about....
