out and about

Hi

This week I have shown an interest in the potty.....unfortunately for Mummy not for the purpose it is intended. But I am having a great time exploring. I particualrily enjoy sitting on it backwards.....

Jakob and Ashlee had a good time exploring the Belmont regional park. Lucky they were wearing gumboots as they spent lots of time walking through the streams.....sorry to the Mums who got wet feet! I had a good view of it all from the backpack. Mummy said I was meant to be having a sleep but it was such a good view. We finished the afternoon with hot chocolates from the thermos flask and we needed it, it was very chilly.

getting mobile

This week we were both getting mobile. Dylan has been walking everywhere. You can't stop him now, and he just smiles and laughs, he is sooo proudof himself (and enjoys the attention I think).

Daddy and I got out on Saturday for a quick ride with the trailgator. It connects my bike to Daddy's so we can go out together for longer rides. Just a short ride this week as it was a bit windy. Hopefully next weekend will be better weather and Mummy and Dylan will come for a ride too.

NPC trip

Hi

Today we went to the airport for a Playcentre trip. We got to see the firengines they use at the airport (no photos, Mummy was too busy keeping us together). We got to see the water spurting out and got to climb on to the rescue boat.

Then we had morning tea in the terminal. DJ joined us on the mat, but he spent a lot of time inspecting what the other kids were eating.

Hi

On Monday we had (playdough) cakes at Playcentre and I got to sit on the birthday throne. Una and Zoe had their birthday's recently too so they joined me.

It has been a busy birthday week and now, as I keep telling Mummy and Daddy "I'm a big boy now, I'm four"

I helped Daddy to hang up Lightening McQueen in my bedroom. We had to drill a hole in the ceiling! Daddy did a great job of painting him for my birthday so he has to live in my bedroom now.

Happy Birthday to me, now I'm four!!!

I had a great party today with my friends (and the little bro). And Grandma and Grandad came down for the weekend too so I was very busy.

We played games, and I especially liked the 'lolly monster'. We tackled Daddy on the front lawn to get all the lollies. I had a race track cake with Lightening McQueen and Daddy decorated the garage for me. I got lots of cool presents, I'll have lots to do over the winter months.

My new bike

On Saturday I went to get my birthday present from Mummy and Daddy....my new bike! I was so excited I even rode it around in the shop. And I spent all day riding it around. I am so proud of my new orange bike.

It was raining outside so I was doing some drawings and then decided to decorate my alligator with glitter glue. I told Mummy "I'm decorating him for the christmas tree". (As most of our decorations have sparkles on them).

Hi

I was out to two parties this weekend, my girlfriends Una and Laura had their parties. And my four year old party is next weekend, with Lightening McQueen! I let Dylan come with me this morning (see photos of DJ and George in the highchairs) but later it was just me and Mummy (DJ and Daddy stayed home for a sleep). It was lots of fun and Mummy said my sugar high lasts and lasts...... I 'helped' Una blow out her candles, just a bit of practice for next weekend.

Laura had a pink party, I was much more relaxed when a few boys arrived. We were outnumbered for awhile. Then Una had a sea theme, the girls got to be mermaids and we boys pirates.
