dylan's week

Hi
This week Jakob and I got to go swimming twice. (Sorry no pictures as Mummy was in the pool with us). I love being in the water, so much so that I get upset if Mummy doesn't get me in soon enough. I have been known to try to help to strip off my clothes to get my swimmers on!

Anyway my pictures this week show me being a strong man on my play gym. My arms are building up muscles, Daddy will soon have to adjust my cot base so I don't try to get out. The second shot is from yesterday when I decided to read the paper .....good thing Daddy had already finished with the paper.

platypus

This week I spent a lot of time with my new platypus Percy. I got him in Melbourne and we have been great friends ever since. Mummy and I went to the library to get some books about platypus. So now I know lots! Did you know they live in a barrow (burrow) beside the river? And they like to eat wriggly worms and yabbies.
My picture this week is Percy and I having morning tea, Percy decide to have yabby instead of banana cake.

we're back.......

Here we are back in NZ. Fortunately the weather seems to have improved since our arrival back.

Here are a few photos from this week. DJ has been enjoying his new swing (with the help of J for a push).

The new season oranges from Gisborne have been a hit with both of the boys. They can't seem to get enough.

Yesterday we took Daddy out for a walk to the Belmont Regional park. There was plenty to look at in the park. Lots of space to run around and J even got to see some tadpoles. We might go back next week to see if they have grown some legs.
