update

Hi

This week we are back in to the swing of the term. I am enjoying my swimming and I tell Mummy I "swim like a shark". When she watches me she agrees. Dylan and I are also both enjoying music, lots of instruments to try out and I especially like the action songs, we even have one about diggers!

Here is a pic for this week, Dylan had just got out of the bath and decided that he was a big boy so he took my drink bottle and went and sat on my chair. He thought he was sooo clever.

But he does look cute. (I call him "cutey cutey" which is what Mummy says about me too but I'm not I tell her, " I'm a big boy now, I'm four".

winter days

Hi

Its been a bit chilly of late so we have been spending more time indoors. Like reading books with Daddy, the library has become one of our favourite places to visit.

And we have been playing with dress ups too, Dylan likes to follow me around like at Playcentre last week where he just had to dress up too. I got to be the tiger and Dylan was the crocodile. He's a bit little for the costumes so the crocodile hat kept falling over his eyes, but he thought that was funny.

Dylan has been walking lots too, he can even run after me now. Last week Mummy caught him at the water trough. He had managed to climb up on the step by himself to access the water. The water was nice and warm so still fun to play with even in the middle of a Wellington winter.

Welcome back to Grandma and Papa who have been visiting warmer climates, lucky you to see the sunshine! And get well soon to our Grandma in Taranaki, we hope we can visit again soon.

Love lots

Jakob and Dylan.

hi all

This week it has been very cold. We even had a frost this morning. Thus Daddy and I haven't been able to get out on the bike as often. But we have been doing some baking. Our favourite is the choc chip muffins - they taste great!

On sunday we went to the New Dowse museum in Lower Hutt. They had an exhibition from the King Kong movie (no photos allowed sorry) and I had a great time looking at the models from the movie, especially the dinosaur ones. At the end we got to make our own dinosaur models. Dylan tried to help me but I managed to get it finished anyway. See it in the photo. It is now in proud place on my drawers in my bedroom, far above little brothers hands......

brothers

We have been hanging out at home for the last couple of days as it has been rather cold. After seeing J with his camera I decided to try one too.

Here is also a photo of us together on the couch, in our snuggly pj's ready for bed.

capital E

Hi

Today we caught the train into Wellington with some of our friends from Playcentre. After enjoying the train ride and some morning tea we headed off to Capital E for the real reason for out trip, to see the Paper Shaper show. It is a puppet show about a man who makes all sorts of things from paper. I (Jakob) liked the 'thunder and lightening' and 'the man going in the rubbish bin' (the puppet lives in the bin and collects the paper to make things.....)

Dj even manged most of the show before he got fidgety.

Then it was time for lunch before catching the train home. What a day, my legs were tired from all that walking!
